The Center for Advancing Domestic Peace
The mission of Center for Advancing Domestic Peace is to end the destructive cycles of emotional, sexual, and physical domestic abuse through comprehensive, culturally responsive direct service, community education, and research.
CADP seeks to provide effective interventions that promote changes in beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors and teach healthy relationship skills that can help program participants end their violence and foster safety for women, children, and men in their homes and communities. CADP continues its work to develop strategies that encourage program participants who are nearing completion to initiate prevention activities in their communities. CADP understands domestic violence and community violence economically depletes communities decreasing resources for life-enhancing activities. The Center’s goal is to provide services and community outreach that support both individual and societal change.
